Eleanore Ave,  New Smyrna Beach, FL - Mission House

Our property in New Smyrna had two houses on the lot.  This is the 2nd house, located behind our little bungalow.  This house had been non-functional for quite some time.  When it rained outside, it very literally rained IN this house.  We were actually not sure if it was worth saving, but put our efforts into stabilizing it.  After a year of hauling 6 large garbage pails to the curb twice a week, we sold the property to a couple wanting it for an investment.  Happily, this house was given additional attention, and it is now used as a couple of rental apartments.  Another piece of history saved!
